Antonette Bennett

Dr Bennett graduated with her BSc in Chemistry from the University of the West Indies. She then worked as a forensic officer for five years, after which she did a second BSc in Biomedical Sciences at Florida Atlantic University. She completed her PhD in August 2009 on the assembly of ssDNA virus capsids, in the College of Medicine under the tutelage of Dr Mavis McKenna. She then received a HHMI Postdoctoral Teaching Fellowship for the 2009-2011 academic years. Dr Bennett continues to work as a Post doctoral Fellow in the Center of Structural Biology, McKnight Brain Institute, University of Florida.
