Paul received a B. Shya Biswas
Received her PhD in Biotechnology in 2003 from the University of Potsdam, Germany and Banaras Hindu University (India) under the joint mentorship of Prof Dr. Robert Seckler and ProfArvind Kayastha. Her current research interest includes isoform specific drug design towards human carbonic anhydrase IX.

Lawrence J. Tartaglia
Lawrence received his B.S. and M.S. in biology from Rutgers University in New Jersey. He is currently working on his PhD under the supervision of Dr. Mavis Agbandje-McKenna. His research is focused on the characterization of the interaction of adeno-associated virus serotype 2 (AAV2) and its primary receptor heparin sulfate as well as the co-receptors required for cellular internalization.

Lauren M. Drouin
Lauren received her B.S. in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida in 2006. She is currently working on her Ph.D. under the direction of both Drs. Mavis Agbandje-McKenna and Nicholas Muzyczka. Her research focuses on the development and characterization of hybrid Adeno-Associated Viruses as vectors for use in gene therapy.

Graduated from Claflin University, South Carolina in 2009 with a B.S. in Biotechnology. Then received a M.S. in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University, MD in 2010. Currently pursuing a PhD in Biochemistry with research focusing on the structural characterization of human and animal bocaviruses under the mentorship of Dr. Mavis A. McKenna.

She is currently working on her PhD with research focusing on the structural characterization of the antigenic sites of adeno-associated viruses (AAV) under the mentorship of Dr. Mavis A. McKenna.

Farzaneh Tondnevis
I graduated from University of California, Santa Cruz in 2009 with a B.S in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I Joined IDP program in Fall 2010 and have been pursuing a Ph.D. in Biochemistry with my research being focused on mainly the mechanism of clamp loading reaction in E. coli and investigation of novel antibiotic targets as well as study of T. cru alpha CA and Mycoplasma hyorhinis & Mycoplasma genitaliumthiamine binding proteins.
